God Who Judges the Earth

Do you indeed decree what is right, you gods?  Do you judge the children of man uprightly?  No, in your hearts you devise wrongs;  your hands deal out violence on earth.  The wicked are estranged from the womb; they go astray from birth, speaking lies. They have venom like the venom of a serpent, like the deaf adder that stops its ear, so that it does not hear the voice of charmers or of the cunning enchanter.  O God, break the teeth in their mouths; tear out the fangs of the young lions, O Lord! Let them vanish like water that runs away; when he aims his arrows, let them be blunted.  Let them be like the snail that dissolves into slime, like the stillborn child who never sees the sun.  Sooner than your pots can feel the heat of thorns, whether green or ablaze, may he sweep them away!   The righteous will rejoice when he sees the vengeance; he will bathe his feet in the blood of the wicked.  Mankind will say, “Surely there is a reward for the righteous; surely there is a God who judges on earth.”

As one who votes, how can we choose those we put in the office of the President?  I voted for Jimmy Carter the first time around, and by the second run for office, you wonder how did such an unqualified person get my vote.  Do you know why I voted for him the first time He claimed to be a Christian.  Now I’m not saying he was or was not, a Christian, but it come to light he was very deceptive.  What about Bill Clinton, and how the media called him the king of spin?  The only spin I had heard of was a top, but Bill was really good at lying. What about John F. Kennedy and Lyndon B. Johnson both were not morally sound.  Being a Texan I knew too much about Lyndon to vote for him and was not voting at that time.

Now you have noticed I did not have any Republicans on my list, but that does not mean I had a choice, we only had a few that I respected, and one of those was Don Trump, never has a man had so many lies told about him, and He was the only President in my lifetime that did not lie to the voters.   He was arrogant, a bully, and rude, but he got things done to help the American people. And with that said I hope he does not run again. But his ego is too big and I believe He will.  And if he does I will vote for him, not because he acts Presidential, but I have no doubt he loves the USA and will put us where we are not dependent on our enemies.

By the way, we do the same with our Senate and Congress.  Christians are guilty of not seeking the Lord's leadership when we vote.  We vote on their looks, and their education, not on the quality of the person.
