God has this to say to the Wicked

Psalm 50:16-23

May 27, 2022

But to the wicked God says: “What right have you to recite my statutes or take my covenant on your lips?   For you hate discipline, and you cast my words behind you.  If you see a thief, you are pleased with him, and you keep company with adulterers.  “You give your mouth free rein for evil, and your tongue frames deceit.  You sit and speak against your brother; you slander your own mother's son.  These things you have done, and I have been silent; you thought that I was one like yourself.  But now I rebuke you and lay the charge before you.  “Mark this, then, you who forget God, lest I tear you apart, and there be none to deliver!  The one who offers thanksgiving as his sacrifice glorifies me; to one who orders his way rightly
I will show the salvation of God!”

Fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom, a poser in my opinion falls into the wicked category.  What is a poser“a person who acts in an affected manner in order to impress others.”   Often they are attention-seekers but they are not the real thing.  Like the politician that sits in the front of the church in the months before an election, but is no were to be found after the election.  Of the businessman who only comes to help his business, is too busy to be part of any ministry, and never shares his faith unless it helps get business.  You probably discover a poser.

For years I was a poser, I had knowledge of my subject and believed everything about my subject, but did not want to submit to Him.  At 27 years of age I did so and it not only changed my eternal home, but as I unlearned religion and began to find He was faithful, I learned to trust and obey His leadership, and I'm still a learner and a seeker of the Truth.”  Jesus is the Truth and the life and the only way to the Father.  The Church building is not a place for perfect people, if that were so they would not allow you or me inside its doors.  But many who come through those doors, hate discipline, they want to eat and go where they want, with no one, not God or man telling them how to live free, and often they are not at peace with God and man.

We have mass murders and we call the person mentally ill, but never do we, the Church, stand and say that person is demon posses and doing the will of their father the devil, who came to steal, kill, and destroy.

Has the Church, you and I who are followers of Christ, lost our conviction, why are we not sharing the Truth, “Jesus is the Truth.”  Could it be that the culture and the world's values have stolen our first love?

How much of what God is accusing the wicked of in this Psalm 50:16-23 can you identify as part of your life?  If you are being honest, search your heart, and find any of this in your life, except discipline, and confess it to the Lord, who will not only forgive a broken and contrite heart but not recall the sin again.

The one who offers thanksgiving as his sacrifice glorifies me; to one who orders his way rightly I will show the salvation of God!
