How do you see yourself?

Revelation 14:1-5

It seems like almost every Sunday at the church we attend, the choir is trying to teach us a new song, often unless it is repeated you never learn the words or even remember the tune.  But John is an eyewitness to the 144,000 who have been redeemed from the earth, singing a song that no one else can learn, and they will sing this song before the throne and before the elders.  We are told the 144,000 follow the Lamb wherever he goes.  These 144,000 are men, who were not defiled; they were virgins and in verse five we read, “and in their mouth no lie was found, for they are blameless.”

It is so hard for us to understand the ways of God, when I think of blameless these words fill my mind; innocent, guiltless, above reproach, irreproachable, unimpeachable, in the clear, exemplary, perfect, virtuous, pure, impeccable, faultless; informal squeaky clean.  That is how God sees me, because I have been covered by the blood of Jesus, but that is not how I see myself.  I see myself as a rascal that God knows all about and still He loves me.  How do you see yourself?  If you enter into Christ, you are a new creation, your sins, past, present and futures or forgiven.  The redeeming blood of Jesus Christ covers your sins and you have entered into Christ (time line, you are eternal), and how you feel has no affect on the truth.
