The Antichrist and the second beast

Revelation 13:13-18

As I open the thirteenth chapter and began to read, those thoughts I just shared flooded my mind, because it is about the two beasts, the first, I believe is the Antichrist and the second beast exercises all the authority of the first beast.  We are told he looked like a lamb but his actions and speech are like a dragon.  The Scripture tells us that the second beast’s goal is to make the inhabitants of the earth worship the Antichrist, and that he is given the ability to perform great signs, even making fire come down from heaven to earth.  The apostle John tells us, that his goal is to make an image of the first beast and require all the people to worship that image.  Look at the apostle’s account beginning in verse15, “And it was allowed to give breath to the image of the beast, so that the image of the beast might speak and might cause those who would not worship the image of the beast to be slain.  Also, it caused all, both small and great, both rich and poor, both free and slave, to be marked on the hand or the forehead, so that no one can buy or sell unless he has the mark, that is, the name of the beast or the number of its name.  This calls for wisdom: let the one who has understanding calculate the number of the beast, for it is the number of a man, and his number is 666.

I have no knowledge of what is in your mind or heart, and my thoughts have little are no value on what you believe, but God spoke through prophets like Daniel, Ezekiel, Isaiah, and John, and He also spoke through Jesus about these things.  Do not take my word for it, get your Bible and ask the Spirit of God to reveal what you need to know about what Jesus calls the end times.  This is not talking about the end of the world, but is referring to the Church being removed and the Spirit of God being removed from the hearts of men.  It is referring to a time of evil and suffering, it will be a time like none that man has seen on this earth, and you do not have to be here when it happens.
