Be Ready for Every Good Work

Titus 3:1-2

Be Ready for Every Good Work

Remind them to be submissive to rulers and authorities, to be obedient, to be ready for every good work, to speak evil of no one, to avoid quarreling, to be gentle, and to show perfect courtesy toward all people.

Let’s be clear if for any reason you have doubts about current events, God is not calling us to turn off our brains and believe what the New York Times and CNN are telling you or Dr. Fauci, whose track record on this virus does not look all that good unless you only read the New York Times or watch T.V. News.

We have the mind of Christ, but you will not find that mind at Fox news or your local rag you call a news source.  It took a while to come to an understanding that much of the China Virus was not true, and yes people have died, but most of them had premedical conditions that would not allow their bodies to fight the virus.  I do not believe that all over the people of the nation began to riot because a bad man under the control of drugs was killed by the police, and I do believe the policeman was wrong in what he did, no excuse.  I do believe powerful men who are evil were behind the riots, they were and are organized and well planned out.  Not only are the poor fools destroying business, and people’s lives, but in their foolish evil hearts are now burning the word of God.  I have news for these fools, and I’m only agreeing with God when calling them  fools, “the fool says in their hearts there is no God.”  The good news is they could burn all the Bibles in the world, and the Rock would carry the living word to those chosen by God.

With that said, I wear a mask, and where required by law I do the six feet thing, and I know a little about masks, most are pretense at best, many do you more harm than good.  Even the N-95 if not fitted correctly has very little value.  If you have facial hair like a beard, it does not work.  I wear a pretense mask because God has told me to obey authority, He did not tell me to keep my thoughts to myself.  I do not attend church service, I do not have fellowship with my brothers and sisters, in Christ because the doors are closed to worship, do I like that, not on your life, but I don’t have a voice and I’m under authority, but I still have the freedom today to share my thoughts.  They are not mean-spirited and yes I believe I have looked at both sides of the issues. The only place in the Scriptures where I am told to fear is to fear God.  There are many verses such as Isaiah 41:10, “So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God.  I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.”  I also find in Scripture the book of Hebrews 10:25, “Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is but exhorting one another: and so much the more, as ye see the day approaching.”

Do you find it hard to do good works locked up in fear of dying from the China Virus?  Have you wondered how many people have died from the flu, from car wrecks, from heart attacks, and from cancer?  If you have a different opinion based on facts, I will be happy to have a dialog with you.  Do you understand, that before you were formed in your mother, God had seen each day of your life and appointed a day for you to die, and no mask, no virus, nor anything is going to change that day?  Jan and I have chosen to believe God, not doctors, nor anyone else unless they are obeying the written word of God.  Choose this day who you will follow, as for me and my house we will follow the Lord.

P.S. Does the Scripture to respect authority, supersede Hebrews 10:25?
