Does God desire to be Worship?

Psalm 19: 1-6

“The heavens declare the glory of God, and the sky above proclaims his handiwork.  Day to day pours out speech, and night-to-night reveals knowledge. There is no speech, nor are there words, whose voice is not heard.  Their voice goes out through all the earth, and their words to the end of the world.  In them he has set a tent for the sun, which comes out like a bridegroom leaving his chamber, and, like a strong man, runs its course with joy.  Its rising is from the end of the heavens, and its circuit to the end of them, and there is nothing hidden from its heat.”

The question that is like the elephant in the room, that no one wants to acknowledge.   Does God our Creator desire to have us worship Him?  It matters not where Old or New Testament, we find God desiring our worship.  Many have asked is God needed?

Shall we allow the Scriptures to speak, and I pray you have ask God to give you understanding of what they are proclaiming.  Sing to the Lord, all the earth!  Tell of his salvation from day to day.  Declare his glory among the nations, his marvelous works among all the peoples!  For great is the Lord, and greatly to be praised, and he is to be feared above all gods.  For all the gods of the peoples are worthless idols, but the Lord made the heavens.   Splendor and majesty are before him; strength and joy are in his place.  Ascribe to the Lord, O families of the peoples, ascribe the Lord glory and strength!  Ascribe to the Lord the glory due his name;
bring an offering and come before him!  Worship the Lord in the splendor of holiness; tremble before him, all the earth; yes, the world is established; it shall never be moved.  Let the heavens be glad, and let the earth rejoice,
and let them say among the nations, “The Lord reigns!”
(1 Chronicles 16:23-31)  What about Romans 12:1-2, Therefore, I urge you, brothers and sisters, in view of God’s mercy, to offer your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to God—this is your true and proper worship.  Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is—his good, pleasing and perfect will.”
This I’ve observed, people praise what they value where it be sports, cars, houses, family, or power and money.  John Piper said in a sermon something close to this; “We praise what we enjoy.  God is the one being in the universe that gathering praise for Himself is not arrogant, not selfish, but is love pure and simple.”
