Is David's Prayer also your Prayer?

David's Prayer

Then King David went in and sat before the Lord and said, “Who am I, O Lord God, and what is my house, that you have brought me thus far?  And this was a small thing in your eyes, O God. You have also spoken of your servant's house for a great while to come, and have shown me future generations, O Lord God!  And what more can David say to you for honoring your servant? For you know your servant.  For your servant's sake, O Lord, and according to your own heart, you have done all this greatness, in making known all these great things.  There is none like you, O Lord, and there is no God besides you, according to all that we have heard with our ears.  And who is like your people Israel, the one nation on earth whom God went to redeem to be his people, making for yourself a name for great and awesome things, in driving out nations before your people whom you redeemed from Egypt?  And you made your people Israel to be your people forever, and you, O Lord, became their God.  And now, O Lord, let the word that you have spoken concerning your servant and concerning his house be established forever, and do as you have spoken, and your name will be established and magnified forever, saying, ‘The Lord of hosts, the God of Israel, is Israel's God,’ and the house of your servant David will be established before you.  For you, my God, have revealed to your servant that you will build a house for him.  Therefore, your servant has found courage to pray before you.  And now, O Lord, you are God, and you have promised this good thing to your servant.  Now you have been pleased to bless the house of your servant, that it may continue forever before you, for it is you, O Lord, who have blessed, and it is blessed forever.”

“Who am I, O Lord God, and what is my house, that you have brought me thus far?”

Have you prayed that prayer yourself, do you believe it was your own doing?  I've prayed that prayer often, and you may be saying why?  Let me share why, I grew up in a poor family that had little of this world stuff, but my mother and dad had Jesus living in them.  My dad worked two jobs to feed his family and he taught us the value of work and doing the job right the first time.  But he did not teach us to set goals or dream we could do better than what we had known.  But God had a plan and it was good long before I asked Him to be my Lord and Master, He was preparing me to have a heart for others.

And I am in full agreement with David in this statement; “There is none like you, O Lord, and there is no God besides you, according to all that we have heard with our ears.” A chosen people of God who have received Grace and been cleansed by the blood of Jesus Christ.

His blessing for the Jewish people has and will always be God’s chosen.

There was a time when God had His hand on the United States of America, but we as a people turned our back on Him and removed Him from our school, our government, and many so-called churches that do not honor His written Word.  And we are reaping the fruits of our actions, a nation in a decade.  We murder 62+ million babies for money, and convenience and our school teaches our youth that God makes a mistake and they are really not the sex they show up with on planet earth.  And in that we have little or no regard for life, we now have teen killing in our schools, and on our national streets and marketplace.  We have a President who is an evil man and has sold out this country for money, along with his family.

AND THE CHURCH IS SILENT!
