The News of the Day looking at Proverbs 28

The News of the Day

As I read this morning in Proverbs, I was directed to look into the news of the day from the book of Proverbs.  Violent riots in Baltimore is the headline.

Proverbs 28:4, 5, “Those who forsake the law praise the wicked, but those who keep the law strive against them.” 5 “Evil men do not understand justice, but those who seek the LORD understand it completely.”

The Nepal Earthquake over four thousand killed, many homeless and help is needed is the headline.

Proverbs 28:27, “Whoever gives to the poor will not want, but he who hides his eyes will get many a curse.”

The Clintons have now made another mess, is the headline.

Proverbs 28:18, “Whoever walks in integrity will be delivered, but he who is crooked in his ways will suddenly fall.”
