Psalm 82
“God has taken his place in the divine council; in the midst of the gods, he holds judgment: “How long will you judge unjustly and show partiality to the wicked? Selah
Give justice to the weak and the fatherless; maintain the right of the afflicted and the destitute. Rescue the weak and the needy; deliver them from the hand of the wicked.” They have neither knowledge nor understanding; they walk about in darkness; all the foundations of the earth are shaken. I said, “You are gods, sons of the Most High, all of you; nevertheless, like men, you shall die, and fall like any prince.” Arise, O God, judge the earth; for you shall inherit all the nations!”

First, shall we give the writer Asaph credit for this Psalm? He tells us that God the Father has taken His place, indicating a judgment is about to take place. The lesser gods, not sure unless it’s the false gods that many have put trust in like governments and wealth and power. Who is and has shown partiality to the wicked in 2019? It looks to this writer that it is often happening, with the Clinton’s, a past leader in the FBI and many who hold seats in our government, and also those with Hollywood fame and sports heroes. But God has appointed judges and government leaders as His appointed to judge faithful and fairly. It looks as if these are the ones that are in for judgment for not doing the job they were selected for.
Not only are the wicked being judged, but also those who take advantage of the weak, the needy, the destitute and the fatherless. How often do we see that taking place in political parties, the law being passed to promise what is equal to slavery for a small hand-out at the trough of government? In that government prints money, but do not work or make money; it must always take from someone to give a small amount to another party, just enough to steal their dignity.
One party that has gone full-blown in doing so has promised to give you what others have worked for so that if you do not want to work, they will take care of you; it's called the new green deal. Let me be clear, that’s not from God, you will not find that in the Bible, but you will find the following; “For even when we were with you, we gave you this rule: “The one who is unwilling to work shall not eat.” (2 Thessalonians 3:10)
You will also not find abortion, and I’m not talking about the late-term, and now some even want to kill a child after it is born. The psalmist tells us they, referring to the leader and judges have “neither knowledge nor understanding, they walk about in darkness.” This is what we find in the Bible; Jeremiah 1:5, “Before I formed you in the womb I knew you, and before you were born I consecrated you; I appointed you a prophet to the nations.” Many have told me that to look more in-depth, has God spoken on this subject elsewhere, and He has? Look at Psalms 139:13-16, and Isaiah 44:24, and tell me how you could vote for anyone who wants to kill a child, born or unborn. Let me be obvious, I’m not your judge, but God is and as your brother in Christ, do as I often do; and that is going back to the counsel of 2 Corinthians 13:5, “Examine yourselves to see whether you are in the faith; test yourselves. Do you not realize that Christ Jesus is in you—unless, of course, you fail the test?”
